Salad Recipe: Corn and Red Pepper Salad

The ever- popular green leafy and potato salad are often served in practically every occasion. But then if you get tired of these two, the internet is a vast resource of salad recipe ideas.
I found one that's very easy to prepare. And I'm a corn lover, so…: Corn and Red Pepper Salad.
Ingredients
6 ears corn, husked
1 large red bell pepper, seeded and sliced into chunks
1 red onion, diced
6 fresh basil leaves or 1 tsp dried basil
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp paprika
salt and pepper to tastePreparation
1. Cook the corn in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and cool.
2. Cut kernels off the cob and place in a mixing bowl. Add the other ingredients and toss until mixed thoroughly. Chill before serving.
3. Season to taste. Serve as a side dish.
